How do I get started ?
You can register at Mychettiyarmatrimony.com either as a free member or as a Paid member.
Step 1: Create a profile for you or for your dear ones. Register Now
Step 2:Complete your profile by adding photo, verifying phone number, filling partner preference and more details about you to get best attention from members.
Step 3: Search for members who match your expectations and contact them via message, chat or call.
What is profile / photo validation ?
All newly created profiles will undergo validation to check if the data given is proper and without any abusive language or inappropriate content in order to show only authentic and appropriate profiles to the members.The photos you upload will undergo manual validation to check if the photo is proper and decent since we display only real and genuine profile photos.
Can I choose my own matrimony ID ?
No. You cannot choose your Matrimony ID. Only system will generate a Matrimony ID for each profile.
Why am i asked to verify my phone number / Email ID?
Only verified phone numbers / Email ID can be displayed to the members. This is to avoid junk or invalid phone number / Email ID entries. A profile with verified phone number / Email ID creates genuine feel for other members
I have not yet received SMS for verification.What can i do ?
You can request to resend the PIN number SMS or you can place a call request for IVR verification. You can also call our number and verify
Why should i upload a photo? What type of photo is needed for using with my profile?
Uploading a photo will increase your chance of getting best response from prospective matches. Profiles with photos get 20 times more response since members are likely to see profiles with photos. You must always use a photo that meets the following requirements.
1) Postcard size photo in jpg or gif format
2) Minimum of 300 DP resolution
3) Taken in plain background
4) No caricature or drawings allowed So upload your photo right away
What is partner preference?
Partner preference will help you find the life partner who exactly matches your expectations based on a set of questions. Based on your partner preference criteria, regular match updates will be sent to your email to find your perfect life partner.
What I am not allowed to create another profile with same Email ID.Why?
This is to prevent misuse of the site and also to avoid invalid or fake profiles.
Using The My Account
I have already registered at MyChettiyarMatrimony.com but not able to login and use the account.Why?
MyChettiyar Matrimony after validating the registration details sends the USER ID and PASSWORD to the email ID provided during registration. We take all the efforts to complete such process quickly and activate the user account within 24 hours. Please first check your email for the receipt of email from also and also your spam folder incase if it is not found in your INBOX. If it is not received please contact us with details of your name, user name and email address given while registering the account to resolve the problem.
How do I login to my account and use it?
You can login to your account by using the ID and password provided by us during your registration process. Please use them at the sign in or login places provided at our web site.
I forgot my Password. How do I retrieve it?
Click on the "Forgot Password" link in the home page and enter your email ID used during registration and provide your Reg.No.
If you don’t remember your registration number mention it by clicking the check box and submit it.
We will immediately mail a new password to the email ID given by you during the registration.
Partner Search
How do i search for matches?
Click on 'Search' and select Quick search, Basic search,Keyword search,Location search,Occupation search or advanced search. Quick,Occupation,Keyword search has only basic important criteria to be set where as advanced search will have more criteria to choose, making your search results appropriate.
Apart from these, the system selects matches especially for you based on your partner preference and profile details and gives the list of matches in 'Latest matches', 'yet to be viewed', 'member who might like you', 'mutual matches' etc.
How will search for a particular member here?
If you know a member's Matrimony ID, then you can type that in the 'My Home' page search column and find that member's profile.
Is it possible for me to save my search criteria to avoid doing it every time?
Yes. You can save your search. Once you hit the 'Search' button, your search results will appear along with an option to save search. Give a name to your search and click save button.
Why my search criteria are pre-filled?
Your search fields are almost filled if you have completed your partner preference. This is for your easy access of search options.

What is a MyChettiyarmatrimony.com Paid Membership?
MyChettiyarMatrimony.com allows any eligible member looking for matrimonial alliance to register FREE and view the other registered profiles. However, to view the contact details of such registered profiles, then you should become a premium member.

How can I renew / upgrade membership?
You can choose to upgrade membership by clicking on Membership from the MyHome page. You can renew your current membership only a couple of weeks from the time of expiry of the current one.
What are the various online payment options available?
You can pay online by Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking and Mobile Payments (State Bank Of India / Paymate).
I can't pay online. What are the payment options available for me?
You can pay by the following methods:
Visit our Offices - Visit any of our V V Matrimony Services offices located in various cities in India and pay by Cheque / DD in favour of "V V Matrimony Services".( Payable at Tuticorin )
Pay at Banks - Visit any of the State Bank of India, Indian Bank or TMB Bank branches across India to make Cash, Cheque / DD payments. After depositing the Cheque / DD, call 0461-2336333 and 8428612300 with your Cheque / DD details.
Why am i not able to make payment online,although my card is valid?
Check if you have entered the correct credit/debit card number and expiry date. If you're still facing problems, Please contact the bank that issued the card and make sure your card has sufficient funds.
Is online payment secure?
Online payment at VV Matrimony Services is safe and secure. Your credit/debit card details are kept secure during payment transaction which prevents unauthorised access.
How long does it take to activate my premium membership after I made my payment?
Online payment instantly reflects on your membership subscription so that you can enjoy all the benefits of premium membership as soon as you pay.
Other payment modes will take approximately 3-5 working days for membership activation.
Edit Profile
How can I modify my profile information?
After logging in to your profile, click on the drop down My profile. You will have the option 'Edit profile' to modify your profile information. Completing your profile will help you get more proposals and the best way to find your like-minded life partner. It only takes few minutes to fill in all the information required. So complete your profile.
How can I view my profile?
You can click 'View profile' button from 'My Home' page or you can click the 'View profile' link from 'Edit profile' page.
How can I add more photos to my profiles?
You can add more photos by clicking 'Edit Photo' link from 'My profile' page.
You have options to add from your computer.You can add up to 6 photos with your profile. You can add your primary photo and additional photos along with the registration form. A profile with photos generates more interest and increases your chances of getting contacted soon.
How long will it take for my photo to appear?
After uploading, your photo will undergo validation process which might take up to 48 hrs. Once validation gets over, your photo will appear to everyone.
However, your photo is visible only to you even before validation.
How do I delete my profile?
Yes. You can delete your profile. click on the drop down 'setting '. You will have the option 'Delete my profile'. and choose the reason for deletion, click on the submit button. your profile will be immediately deleted.

Is it possible to restore a deleted profile?
No. The profiles once deleted from our database cannot be retrieved back.
